Description

These Light Bee seat extenders from More Poweeer Electric are designed for the SurRon Light Bee. They raise the seat mounting point to give clearance for larger aftermarket batteries, so a bigger pack can sit neatly under the seat.

Why fit Light Bee seat extenders?

A larger battery is one of the most popular upgrades for the Light Bee, giving more range and often more power. But many larger packs sit higher than the stock battery, which means the standard seat will not close properly over them. Light Bee seat extenders lift the seat to make room, letting you run a bigger battery without cutting or modifying your frame.

  • Seat extenders for the SurRon Light Bee
  • From More Poweeer Electric
  • Give clearance for larger aftermarket batteries
  • No cutting or frame modification needed
  • Simple bolt-on installation

Do you need them?

Not every battery needs seat extenders. Some of our larger LBX batteries, such as the Ride Longer 72v 63Ah, are supplied with an extender hinge and longer clip and do not require seat extenders. Check the battery product page or ask us before ordering if you are unsure.

Ride height

Raising the seat increases seat height slightly. Taller riders often appreciate the extra room, while shorter riders should consider the change before fitting.

Fitting tips

  • Remove the seat and check the new battery fits the compartment
  • Fit the Light Bee seat extenders to the seat mounting points and tighten evenly
  • Refit the seat and check it locks down securely over the battery
  • Make sure nothing presses on battery cables or connectors

Care tips

Check the extender bolts every few rides, as vibration can loosen them over time. Clean away mud from around the mounts so the seat continues to seat properly.

Fitment and compatibility

Designed for the SurRon Light Bee. For Talaria Sting MX3 and MX4, see our Talaria seat extenders.
