This LBX chain conversion kit is the DirtyBike Industries primary drive system for the SurRon Light Bee X and E-Ride Pro 3.0, now available with one of the best sealed 420 chains available – RK’s GB420MXU.
Why fit an LBX chain conversion kit?
If you ride in dusty, sandy or muddy conditions you may get primary belt slippage, which will eventually cause the stock primary belt to fail – possibly leaving you stranded in the middle of nowhere. Do not let that happen. Installing a DirtyBike Industries primary chain drive system replaces the belt with a tough sealed chain that keeps driving no matter how messy the trail gets.

Fitting tips
- Disconnect the battery and support the bike securely
- Remove the primary belt and pulleys following the kit instructions
- Fit the sprockets and chain and set tension to specification
- Check alignment and rotate the drive by hand before your first ride
420 or 219?
We offer both 420 and 219 primary conversion kits for the Light Bee. The 420 kit uses a heavier, stronger chain that suits high-power builds and hard riding. The 219 kit is quieter and lighter. If you are unsure which LBX chain conversion kit suits you, ask us.
Chain care
Clean and lube the chain regularly with a suitable sealed-chain lubricant, and check tension every few rides.
