These terms and conditions apply when you buy from Electric Dirt Bikes through electricdirtbikeaustralia.org, by email or at one of our locations. Orders
When you place an order under these terms and conditions, we will email you an order confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if an item is unavailable, a price or description was clearly wrong, or we cannot verify payment. If we cancel, we will refund anything you have paid for that order.
Prices and payment
- All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD).
- Some items are listed as “Price on request”. Email us for a quote and we’ll confirm the price, options and delivery before you pay.
- Available payment methods are shown at checkout and may include bank transfer and cryptocurrency (BTC, ETH or USDT).
- For bank transfers and cryptocurrency, your order is processed once payment has been received and confirmed. Please use your order number as the payment reference.
- For cryptocurrency, please send the payment on the network shown next to our wallet address. Payments sent on the wrong network may not be recoverable.
Stock, special orders and deposits
We work hard to keep stock information accurate, but occasionally an item may sell out before your order is processed. If that happens we will contact you with options, including a full refund. Some items are special order, and we will confirm timing with you. Deposits are handled as described on the product page and in our Refund and Returns Policy.
Delivery and collection
- Parts and accessories are sent to the delivery address you give at checkout. Delivery times are estimates.
- Bikes can be delivered by our VIP motor courier service. Contact us for a delivery quote to your area.
- You can arrange to collect from our Albert Park (VIC) or Rosny Park (TAS) locations. Please contact us first to arrange a time.
- Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery or collection. Ownership passes once we receive full payment.
Off-road bikes, safety and legal use
Unless a product page says a bike is road registerable, our bikes and e-motos are for off-road use only and are not registered for public roads. Ride them only on private property with permission or at approved off-road parks and tracks, and follow the rules in your state or territory. Always wear an approved helmet and protective gear. Children must be supervised by an adult and ride a bike suited to their size, age and ability.
Performance parts
Many of our parts are designed to increase power or change how a bike performs. Fitting them may affect a manufacturer’s warranty, may make a bike unsuitable for road registration, and should be done by someone with the right skills. If you’re not sure a part suits your bike, ask us before you buy.
Warranty, returns and refunds
Our goods come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Details about our warranty on new bikes, faulty items and change-of-mind returns are in our Refund and Returns Policy, which sits alongside these terms and conditions.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, and without limiting your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, we are not liable for loss or damage caused by misuse of our products, riding in breach of the law, incorrect installation of parts, or modifications not carried out by us.
Privacy
We handle your personal information in line with our Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
Terms and conditions FAQ
Do these terms and conditions limit my consumer rights?
No. Nothing in these terms and conditions limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If an item has a major failure, you can choose a refund or a replacement. Our Refund and Returns Policy explains how that works.
Can I collect my order instead of having it delivered?
Yes. You can collect from our Albert Park (VIC) or Rosny Park (TAS) locations. Please contact us first so we can arrange a time.
Can I ride an off-road bike on the street?
No. Unless the product page says a bike is road registerable, it is for off-road use only, on private property with permission or at approved parks and tracks. Our electric dirt bike laws guide covers the rules in each state.
What happens if an item sells out after I order?
We will contact you with options, including a full refund of anything you have paid for that item.
How do I buy an item marked “Price on request”?
Email sales@electricdirtbikeaustralia.org with the product name and options. We will confirm the price, options and delivery before you pay, and the order then follows these terms and conditions like any other.
