Comfort and control on the trail

Fitting tips
- Remove the old grips – a little compressed air or soapy water under the edge helps them slide off
- Clean the bar and throttle tube so there is no residue left behind
- Fit the new Pro Taper grips with grip glue or a suitable fitting method so they cannot twist
- Allow any glue to cure fully before riding and check the throttle returns freely
Throttle side check
On bikes with a twist throttle, make sure the grip on the throttle side does not rub on the throttle housing or bar end. On thumb throttle setups, position the throttle so your thumb can reach it comfortably with the new grip fitted.
Make them last
Keep grips clean, avoid harsh solvents and replace them when they start to wear smooth or tear. Fresh grips are an easy way to keep your bike feeling new.
