Important: swing arm removal required
You will need to remove the swing arm to replace this belt on the Light Bee. Set aside enough time for the job and make sure you have the right tools. It is also the ideal opportunity to check and grease your swing arm bearings while everything is apart.

Fitting tips
- Disconnect the battery and support the bike securely
- Remove the rear wheel and swing arm following the correct procedure
- Clean the pulleys thoroughly and check them for damage before fitting the new belt
- Reassemble with the swing arm bearings greased, set belt tension correctly and test ride gently
Belt or chain?
If you ride regularly in sand, mud or dust and keep wearing out belts, consider a primary chain conversion kit. For many riders, though, a fresh SurRon LBX Gates belt and regular cleaning is all they need.
