Description

These Ultra Bee supermoto wheels are a 17 inch wheel set built as a direct replacement for the SurRon Ultra Bee OEM wheels. The front is 17×3.5 and the rear is 17×4.25, giving you the wide, road-focused footprint that supermoto riding is all about.

Why fit Ultra Bee supermoto wheels?

The Ultra Bee is a powerful, capable electric motorcycle, and on the road or a tarmac track a supermoto setup transforms how it feels. Wider 17 inch rims let you run proper road tyres with a big contact patch, giving more grip under braking and through corners. Many riders keep a set of Ultra Bee supermoto wheels ready to swap in, so the same bike can be a trail weapon one day and a street machine the next.

  • 17×3.5 front and 17×4.25 rear rims

Ready-to-ride options

Contact us if you want these wheels completed with tyres, tubes and rim locks. We have a range of options from $350 to $500 per wheel depending on the quality of rubber you choose, so you can match the setup to your budget and riding style.

One bike, two personalities

Swapping between dirt wheels and supermoto wheels is a popular way to get the most from an Ultra Bee. With a second set of wheels, you can change the character of the bike in the time it takes to swap them over – no need to change tyres every time you switch from trails to tarmac.

Fitting tips

  • Transfer your brake rotors, sprocket and spacers, torquing all bolts correctly
  • Check rotor alignment with the callipers and sprocket alignment with the chain or belt drive
  • Set road tyre pressures and scrub in new tyres gently before riding hard
  • Re-check spoke tension and axle torque after the first ride

Riding on the road

If you ride on public roads, make sure your bike is registered and road legal for your state and that your tyres are suitable for road use. Supermoto tyres need heat to grip properly, so take it easy for the first few kilometres.

Fitment and compatibility

These wheels are a direct replacement for the SurRon Ultra Bee OEM wheel set. They are not designed for the Light Bee X.
