Description
This replacement SurRon throttle is an electronic throttle for the SurRon Light Bee and Ultra Bee. Choose the LBX or Ultra Bee version and replace a damaged, sticky or broken throttle with a direct-fit part.
Why replace your SurRon throttle?
The throttle is one of the most important controls on your bike, and it is also one of the most exposed. A crash can crack the housing or damage the internal sensor, and water or dirt can make it sticky or erratic. A faulty SurRon throttle can cause jerky power, cut-outs or a throttle that does not return – all of which are unsafe. A replacement restores smooth, predictable control.

Fitting tips
- Turn the bike off and disconnect the battery before starting
- Remove the grip and old throttle, noting how the cable is routed
- Fit the new SurRon throttle in the same position and route the cable along the original path
- Connect the plug and check the throttle snaps back fully with the bars turned lock to lock
Safety check
Always make sure the throttle returns to zero when released, at full steering lock in both directions. Never ride with a throttle that sticks. Check the cable for pinching or damage after any crash.

SurRon throttle FAQ
Which bikes does it fit?
The SurRon Light Bee and Ultra Bee – choose your version.
Does it suit an X-9000?
No. Use the X-9000 thumb throttle for X-9000 setups.
Signs your throttle is failing
Watch for power that surges or drops as you hold the throttle steady, a bike that will not move even though the display shows it is on, or a throttle that feels gritty or slow to return. Water inside the housing and damaged cables are common causes. If the throttle has been through a crash, inspect it closely before riding again – a damaged throttle is not worth the risk.
