Fitting tips
- Support the bike so the wheel you are changing is off the ground
- Remove the existing wheel and keep track of all spacers and axle hardware
- Fit the adaptor as instructed and mount the SurRon wheel
- Check the brake rotor aligns with the calliper, the sprocket lines up with the chain, and the wheel spins freely before tightening the axle fully
Check alignment carefully
When mixing parts from different platforms, alignment matters. Make sure the rotor sits centrally in the calliper and the sprocket lines up with the chain. If anything rubs, stop and recheck the spacer setup before riding. If you are unsure, contact our team for advice on your specific setup.
