Description
The Ultra Bee shock linkage connects the rear shock to the swing arm and frame, controlling how your SurRon Ultra Bee rear suspension moves through its travel. This is a genuine stock linkage that has been taken off a brand-new SurRon bike, so it is identical to the part your Ultra Bee was built with.
Why replace your Ultra Bee shock linkage?
The linkage sits low on the bike, right where rocks, logs and ruts can hit it. A heavy landing or a strike on an obstacle can bend the linkage, and worn bushings or bearings can introduce play into the rear end. A damaged Ultra Bee shock linkage changes how the suspension works and can make the bike feel vague or harsh. Replacing it with the original part restores the factory suspension feel.
- Genuine OEM SurRon Ultra Bee rear shock linkage
- Taken off a new bike, not a used or salvaged part
- Restores the factory suspension geometry and feel
- Direct replacement for bent or damaged linkages
- Ideal for crash repairs and suspension rebuilds
Signs of a damaged linkage
Look for visible bends or scrapes, clunks from the rear of the bike over bumps, or play when you lift and rock the rear wheel. If the rear suspension feels different after a hard landing, inspect the linkage closely before your next ride.
Fitting tips
- Support the bike so the rear wheel is unloaded before removing any bolts
- Note the orientation of the old linkage and every spacer and washer
- Clean and grease the pivot bolts and bearings during reassembly
- Torque all pivot bolts to specification and check the suspension moves freely
Suspension rebuild time?
If you are replacing the linkage, it is the perfect time to check the rest of the rear end. Inspect the rear suspension triangle, the shock spring and the swing arm bearings while everything is apart, and replace any worn parts at the same time.
Fitment and compatibility
This is the OEM linkage for the SurRon Ultra Bee. Bikes fitted with aftermarket linkages or shocks may need different parts – contact us if you are unsure.
