Description
E-Ride Pro SR: the fastest E-Ride Pro we stock
If the SS 3.0 is E-Ride Pro’s all-rounder, the E-Ride Pro SR is its adrenaline shot. It takes the same lightweight off-road formula and turns everything up – motor output, acceleration, top speed and hardware quality – for riders who want precision and serious pace. Peak power is 25kW, the bike reaches 112km/h, and 48km/h arrives just 1.8 seconds after you twist the throttle.

Long range comes from a 3,600Wh battery built on Samsung 50S cells that can be swapped in minutes, while race-spec drive parts and adjustable suspension handle the extra force. Every SR comes with our 12-month defect warranty for the first owner.

How the E-Ride Pro SR performs
Compared with the SS 3.0, the SR is a big leap. Its motor sustains 10kW and delivers bursts of 25kW, rocketing from rest to 48km/h in under two seconds and pulling all the way to 112km/h. Few lightweight electric off-road machines can match that.
The power comes on silently and immediately, with no clutch lever or gear shifter involved. A regenerative brake operated by your thumb lets you scrub speed into turns and on descents – recovering some energy along the way – while your fingers stay ready on the main brake levers.
Samsung-cell battery, range and charging
Energy is stored in a 72V 50Ah lithium pack totalling 3,600Wh and made with Samsung 50S cells. E-Ride Pro’s figures are more than 100km at a steady 40km/h and more than 150km at 24km/h, though terrain and riding speed will affect what you actually get.
A 20–90% charge takes roughly three and a half hours. Because the battery swaps out, a second pack means you can keep riding while the first one charges – perfect for long trail days, track sessions or a bike shared between riders.
Suspension, wheels and drivetrain
FAST ACE performance suspension, built for durability, can be adjusted to your weight and style – essential on a bike designed to be ridden this hard. The wheel package is 19 inches at the front and 18 at the rear, shod with an 80/100-19 tyre up front and a 100/90-18 at the back.
Extra torque needs a tougher drive, so power reaches the back wheel through an RK race chain wrapped around a sprocket machined from aluminium. All up, the bike weighs 83kg and can carry a 137kg rider.

SR, SS 3.0 or Ultra Bee HP?
| Model | Performance | Weight / road use | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| E-Ride Pro SR | 25kW peak, 112km/h, 1.8s to 48km/h | 83kg, off-road | From $9,599.00 |

| Surron Ultra Bee HP | 24.5kW, 520Nm | Full-size, ADR approved | From $10,490.00 |
Go for the SR if you want E-Ride Pro’s top performance and you ride off-road. The SS 3.0 offers similar range for less money, and the Ultra Bee HP is the pick if registration matters.

Where the SR pulls ahead of the SS 3.0
E-Ride Pro’s two full-size models have more in common than you might think. Both carry the same 3,600Wh swappable pack, take the same three and a half hours to charge from 20% to 90%, and carry riders up to 137kg. The gap is all in the hardware and the performance it unlocks.
| E-Ride Pro SR | SS 3.0 | |
| Continuous / peak | 10kW / 25kW | 6kW / 15.8kW |
| To 48km/h | 1.8s | 2.0s |
| Maximum speed | 112km/h | 100km/h |
| Cells | Samsung 50S specified | – |
| Chain and sprocket | RK race chain, CNC aluminium | Standard |
| Mass | 83kg | 76kg |
In short: the SR is for riders who will use the extra speed and appreciate premium drive parts; the SS 3.0 covers the same distance and costs less.
Is the E-Ride Pro SR right for you?
This bike makes most sense if you already have some riding under your belt. It suits people stepping off a Light Bee X or SS 3.0 who want a more serious machine, heavier riders who need the generous 137kg rating, and anyone who spends time at the track or on quick trails where adjustable suspension and a race chain earn their keep.
If you are still building skills, a calmer bike will help you progress faster and more safely – the SS 3.0 and the Surron Light Bee X are both excellent options. You can line up every model on our electric bike range page.
Why Australian riders are choosing the E-Ride Pro SR
For many local buyers, the appeal is simple: it delivers near-superbike acceleration in a package light enough to throw around on a bush track, and the swappable battery means a long day out does not end when the first pack runs low. Ordering through us adds a price that already includes GST, real-time stock information, crated freight to every state and territory, and an E-Ride Pro parts catalogue on the same site.
Registration and where you can ride
The SR has no ADR compliance, which means it cannot be registered. Keep it to private property where you have permission, motocross and enduro venues, and trail parks that welcome electric machines – and read each venue’s entry conditions before you go.
Registered vehicles must satisfy the Australian Design Rules (ADRs). Should you need something road-going, the Surron Ultra Bee HP is fully approved.
Dialling in your E-Ride Pro SR
A bike this strong rewards a careful setup. Work through the FAST ACE adjusters until the sag suits your weight, angle the levers so the thumb regen and both brakes fall easily under your fingers, and make a habit of checking chain slack on the RK race chain before you ride.
- Record the factory clicker positions, then adjust in small steps so you can always return to baseline.
- Add support for big jumps and high-speed sections; back it off for slow rocks and roots.
- Learn the feel of the thumb regen in a flat paddock long before you lean on it down a steep hill.
Electric performance vs a petrol trail bike
Ten years ago, nobody expected an electric dirt bike to embarrass a petrol 250. Today the SR can. It does it without engine noise, fuel cans, oil changes or a gearbox – and its full torque arrives the moment your wrist moves.
Ownership costs reflect that simplicity. Electricity is cheap compared with fuel, and day-to-day upkeep revolves around drive chain care, brake pads and tyres.
Charging habits that protect the battery
Plugging in at home overnight, or between rides on a weekend, suits most owners. Because the pack lifts out, you can charge it indoors or in a garage – just choose somewhere ventilated, dry and away from heat. A 20–90% top-up takes around three and a half hours.
Lithium packs last longest when they are not stored empty or exposed to high temperatures. If the bike will sit unused for a few weeks, leave the battery at around half charge.
Running a second battery
A spare pack is the easiest way to double your riding time. Charge both the night before, mark the full one with tape or a tag, and swap it in when the first runs low. Between rides, store spares half charged in a cool spot and keep their terminals clean. Contact us to check spare battery availability for the E-Ride Pro SR.
Respecting 25kW
Give yourself time to adapt. During the first few outings, focus on how violently the bike accelerates and how much the thumb regen slows it, and only lift your pace once those reactions feel natural. Ride familiar ground while you learn.
At higher speeds, scan further down the trail, start braking sooner and keep your body centred so the suspension can work. Wide-open throttle belongs on open, clear sections – never in blind corners or crowded areas.
At the track and on fast trails
On an MX circuit or a flowing trail network the SR comes alive. Adjustable suspension soaks up big landings, the race chain copes with repeated full-power launches, and a second battery turns a single charge into a full day of laps.
Prep matters: check chain wear and tension, pad thickness and tyre pressures, and run a spanner over the main fasteners. Pack the charger and any spare batteries so you can top up during breaks.
The real cost of owning one
Protective gear should be your first purchase after the bike itself. After that, expect a fast bike to use tyres, pads, chains and sprockets at a quicker rate than a gentle one. Against that, you will not spend a cent on fuel or engine oil, and there is no top-end rebuild waiting down the track – making the SR far cheaper to run than a petrol bike with similar pace.
Two bikes, one garage
Because electric bikes are quiet, riding as a pair or group is easy and neighbour-friendly. A popular combination is an SR for the more experienced rider and an SS 3.0 for a partner who prefers a little less power. If you are ordering two bikes, tell us and we will coordinate delivery so they land on the same day.
Bedding in a new bike
Treat the first few hours gently. Chains stretch a little when new, brake pads need time to bed into the discs and fresh tyres take a ride or two to scrub in. Check chain tension after the first couple of sessions and re-torque the main bolts once things have settled. Questions along the way? We are happy to help.

When the crate arrives
Crated SRs travel to metropolitan, regional and rural addresses nationwide, and a small amount of assembly is required. Once it is unpacked, charge the battery, set your tyre pressures, test the thumb regen and both brakes, and make sure the bars, wheels and axles are properly secured.
Why it feels faster than the numbers
Peak kilowatts only tell part of the story. Electric motors deliver maximum torque from a standstill, so the SR feels sharper than its figures suggest when exiting slow corners or attacking steep climbs. Its 10kW continuous rating is what the motor can hold all day; the 25kW peak is there in bursts whenever you need a hard launch. That combination lets it cruise efficiently on long rides and still explode forward on demand.
Keeping the SR in top condition
- Keep the RK chain clean, lubricated and correctly adjusted.
- Watch for sprocket wear, thinning pads and low tyre pressure.
- Recharge soon after riding rather than leaving packs flat.
- Store the bike and batteries in a dry, shaded place.
- Re-check fasteners after big jumps or a crash.
Gear up properly every time: certified helmet, goggles, gloves, boots, knee and elbow armour and chest protection.
