Description
Fast, long-legged and built for bigger riders: the E-Ride Pro SS 3.0
The third-generation E-Ride Pro SS 3.0 takes everything riders liked about earlier versions and adds more power, sharper handling and more ways to tune the bike to suit you. Its standout trick is pairing a 100km/h top speed with a huge 3,600Wh battery that can be swapped in minutes – so it goes faster and further than most lightweight electric dirt bikes.

Output is 6kW continuous and 15.8kW at peak, 48km/h comes up in two seconds, and the chassis is rated for riders weighing as much as 137kg. We back every bike with our 12-month defect warranty for the first owner and deliver it crated to any address in Australia.

What sets the E-Ride Pro SS 3.0 apart
| Pace | 100km/h maximum; 0–48km/h in two seconds |
|---|---|
| Motor | 6kW continuous, 15.8kW peak |
| Distance | Over 100km at 40km/h, over 160km at 24km/h |
| Battery | Swappable 72V 50Ah lithium, 3,600Wh |
| Suspension | Adjustable FAST ACE, built for durability |
| Braking | Regenerative braking recovers energy as you slow |
| Rider limit | 137kg – well above most light e-motos |
The SS 3.0 is aimed at riders who have outgrown a typical lightweight electric dirt bike – wanting more speed, more distance and more load capacity – but who do not want the bulk of a heavy full-size motorcycle.
Riding the 15.8kW drivetrain
The motor holds 6kW all day and surges to 15.8kW when you ask for it. From a standing start it hits 48km/h in two seconds flat and keeps accelerating to 100km/h – quicker than a lot of bikes in its category.
Because it is electric, every bit of torque is available the instant you open the throttle, and there is no clutch or gear lever to think about. That frees you to concentrate on body position and line choice. On descents, regenerative braking helps hold your speed in check while sending a little charge back to the battery.
The 3,600Wh swappable battery
Energy comes from a 72V 50Ah lithium pack holding 3,600Wh. E-Ride Pro rates it at more than 100km when ridden at 40km/h and more than 160km at 24km/h – with the usual caveat that terrain and speed make a big difference.
A 20–90% charge takes around three and a half hours. The pack is designed to swap out, so carrying a charged spare means the fun does not have to stop while the first one recharges – ideal for big trail days or a bike shared among several riders.
Suspension, wheels and weight
FAST ACE suspension can be adjusted to suit your weight and the terrain, which is important on a bike that carries riders up to 137kg. It rolls on a 2.75-19 front and a 3.00-18 rear tyre – a tried-and-tested off-road size combination that rolls smoothly over rocks and ruts.
The SS 3.0 weighs 76kg. That is more than a Surron Light Bee X, mostly because of the much larger battery, and the extra mass helps it feel stable and planted at speed.

What you pay for the E-Ride Pro SS 3.0
The SS 3.0 is $8,299.00 with 10% GST already included – no tax is added at checkout. We deliver crated anywhere in Australia for $250 per bike.
Included: the swappable 72V battery and our 12-month defect warranty for the first owner. It travels in a crate and needs light assembly. Considering you get a 100km/h machine with 3,600Wh of battery and a 137kg rider rating, that is strong value.
Why the E-Ride Pro SS 3.0 suits Australian conditions
Australian riders tend to want three things from a bike like this: more speed than an entry-level e-moto, enough range for long days on fire trails and farm tracks, and a frame that can handle a full-grown adult. The SS 3.0 ticks all three boxes, with 100km/h, a rated range beyond 100km and room for riders up to 137kg.
It is easy to live with too. A flat battery never has to end your day when you can swap in a spare, and you never deal with fuel, oil or a clutch. Buying from us also gives you access to E-Ride Pro parts and upgrades as your riding progresses.
Tuning the FAST ACE suspension
Adjustable suspension is one of the SS 3.0’s biggest strengths, particularly for heavier riders. Taking time to set it up pays off in comfort, stability and control.
- Note the factory settings first, then set spring preload so the bike sits at the right height with you aboard.
- Make one change at a time and ride a familiar stretch of trail to feel the difference.
- Firm it up slightly for jumps and fast whoops; soften it a touch for slow, rocky going.
- Keep a note of settings you like so you can always return to them.
The E-Ride Pro family compared
We carry all three E-Ride Pro models:
| Model | Key figures | Role | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| E-Ride Pro SS 3.0 | 15.8kW peak, 100km/h, 76kg | All-rounder | From $8,299.00 |
| SR | 25kW peak and 112km/h; 83kg | Performance flagship | From $9,599.00 |
| Mini R | 8kW peak, 70km/h, 48.5kg, 64.8kg rider limit | Compact model | From $5,190.00 |
The SS 3.0 is the sweet spot for speed and range at a sensible price. Move up to the SR for maximum power, or choose the Mini R for smaller, lighter riders.

E-Ride Pro SS 3.0 or Surron Light Bee X?
This is the comparison we are asked about most. The Surron Light Bee X weighs about 59kg, darts through tight trails and carries riders up to 100kg. The SS 3.0 is 76kg, but it is faster (100km/h against 80km/h), has a larger 3,600Wh swappable battery and is rated for riders up to 137kg.
Bigger riders, and anyone wanting extra speed and range for open country, will find the SS 3.0 a better match. For tight technical riding and the widest choice of aftermarket parts, the Light Bee X has the edge.
Who should buy the E-Ride Pro SS 3.0?
- Heavier riders who exceed the limits of most lightweight e-motos.
- Distance riders who will use the long range and swappable battery.
- Speed seekers after a 100km/h top end.
- Families sharing one bike – a spare battery keeps it running from morning to dusk.

Can the E-Ride Pro SS 3.0 be registered?
No. It does not have ADR compliance and is sold for off-road riding only, which rules out registration as well as riding on public roads and footpaths. Keep it to private land, approved tracks and trail parks that permit electric bikes.
Registration requires compliance with the Australian Design Rules (ADRs); for an electric motorcycle you can plate, consider the Surron Ultra Bee HP.
How it compares with a petrol trail bike
Compared with petrol power, this bike is far quieter, simpler to ride and cheaper to keep. There is no gearbox to master, no fuel can in the ute and no oil to change, while instant torque makes climbs and technical sections easier to learn.
For many buyers the low noise is what seals the deal. Riding on private property without upsetting the neighbours is a big part of why electric bikes are replacing petrol ones on so many Australian properties.
Best places to ride
This bike is happiest on private land (with permission), at motocross and enduro venues, and in trail parks that welcome electric bikes. Check each venue’s requirements – memberships and minimum safety gear are common.
Ownership costs
Set money aside for good protective gear before your first ride, and expect to replace tyres, pads and chains as the kilometres add up. A second battery is a popular extra too.
With no fuel to buy and minimal routine servicing, owning the SS 3.0 costs far less than running a petrol bike with similar performance.
Living with a swappable battery
A swappable pack changes the way you plan a day’s riding. Rather than rationing one charge, you can carry a second battery and change over in a few minutes, – a game changer for long loops, track days and bikes shared between family members.
- Top up both packs the night before and tag the full one.
- Store spares somewhere cool and dry, at partial charge if they will sit for a while.
- Keep contacts clean and dry, and handle packs with care.
Battery life and long-term value
A big battery is only useful if it lasts, and the E-Ride Pro SS 3.0’s 3,600Wh capacity works in its favour here. Because a typical ride uses only part of the pack, each outing puts less strain on the cells than it would on a smaller battery that is regularly run close to empty. Combine that with sensible habits – charging after rides, avoiding heat and storing at partial charge – and the battery should keep delivering strong range season after season. And because the pack is swappable, replacing it down the track is a simple job rather than a workshop visit.

First rides on the E-Ride Pro SS 3.0
With 15.8kW available, this is a quick bike, so ease into it. Get a feel for the throttle and for the drag of regen when you back off, then work on braking and cornering on flat, open ground before heading for hills or rough tracks.
Set the suspension up for your weight early on. A well-tuned bike is more comfortable, finds more grip and is easier to control when the pace rises.
Riding at higher speeds
Few electric dirt bikes in this class reach 100km/h, so approach that speed in stages. Look further ahead as you go faster, brake earlier than feels necessary and keep your weight centred so the suspension can work properly. Save high speeds for open ground you know well.
Many owners use the SS 3.0 on wide fire trails and farm tracks, where its speed and range really come into their own. On tight, technical trails, keep the pace sensible and let the instant low-speed torque do the work.
Riding with family and friends
Quiet electric bikes make group riding easier. A smaller family member on an E-Ride Pro Mini R can tag along happily, or two adults on matching SS 3.0s can ride at an even pace. Ordering two? Contact us and we will arrange for both to arrive together.
Keeping your E-Ride Pro SS 3.0 in top shape

- Check tyres, brakes and fasteners, particularly after rough rides.
- Wash using low water pressure and avoid electrical connectors.
Every ride calls for proper gear: a certified lid, goggles, gloves and boots, plus armour for your knees, elbows and chest.
